Dr Spencer Hughes, DC, MS

Dr. Spencer Hughes hails from the capital city of Charleston, West Virginia. In his time in West Virginia he had the opportunity to gain his Eagle Scout award which led to him receiving the highest honor in community service in the state, The Governor's Service Award. Following high school, Dr. Hughes attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.  Following his undergraduate studies Dr. Hughes moved to Portland, OR to pursue his Doctorate in Chiropractic and Masters in Exercise and Sports Medicine from the University of the Western States. During his time in school he has come to love all the Pacific Northwest has to offer and is been inspired to stay in the region to practice his trade.

In addition to providing chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and rehabilitation, Dr. Hughes utilizes his knowledge and experience in biomechanics to help educate his patients on proper movement patterns to improve their health through therapeutic exercises. Dr. Hughes prides himself on listening to his patients needs and providing them holistic options to ensure they are receiving the highest quality health care. Dr. Hughes considers himself a lifetime student. His goal is to continue learn and improve his skills to provide the most current, evidence based care possible for his patients. Dr. Hughes considers himself very lucky to be able provide chiropractic services to the people of the Sherwood community.

When Dr. Hughes is not in the office he enjoys traveling home to spend time with his family in West Virginia. He is proud supporter of the Portland Timbers and also enjoys a variety of hobbies including, backpacking, snowboarding, fishing, soccer and playing disc golf.

Mina Andreas, LMT #19611

Mina Andreas knew from an early age that her passion in life was helping others.  A graduate of The American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, Ohio, she moved to Portland, Oregon, in 2008 to bring her dream to the West Coast.  Mina brings over a decade of experience in rehabilitation using Deep Tissue Massage, Postural Analysis and Myofascial Release.  She has worked with every age group, fitness level and many different types of injuries.  She has worked extensively with patients of motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, orthopedic injuries, (Pre and Post) surgeries, scoliosis and migraines.  Each person who passes through her door can be assured of her dedication to their wellness and continued healing.  Mina feels very honored to be a part of someone’s healing journey and will take the time to unravel the source of the problem, working closely with clients to achieve their maximum potential.
